We founded this practice to help you navigate the often-confusing range of psychiatric treatments to find evidence-based care that fits your needs and preferences. From the alphabet soup of therapeutic modalities and lifestyle approaches, to the impossible-to-pronounce array of medications, to the alternative therapies out there, we can help you make sense of your options at a time when even the everyday may be difficult for you.

Our approach takes a whole-person, whole-life perspective that doesn’t reduce mental health to just weekly talking sessions nor to medication management. Instead, we look at all the options to find the best care for your concerns while addressing the range of impacts and compounding factors in your life. Drawing on therapy, lifestyle changes, medication, and other options, we work with you toward improvements that last beyond treatment.

our approach

  • Sessions with a purpose: Each session is guided by an agenda that is shaped by your goals and a collaboratively determined treatment plan

  • Progress doesn’t end with the session: Specific and measurable practice (“homework”) is utilized between sessions to help you master the skills you learn.

  • Single modality: We utilize a single therapeutic modality, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This ensures a unified, consistent conceptualization and approach to your needs.

  • Solution-focused, time-limited treatment: Treatment is always tailored to each patient’s need and collaboratively determined, but a typical course of CBT is generally 12-20 sessions in length.
